From Dusk Till Dawn | EDC Las Vegas

Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas was a dream. It was unlike any festival I have been to before. It was my first 3 day festival & my first time taking a flight to go to a festival. I went straight from the airport, got ready quickly & went to Day 1!

My cousins & I decided to get tickets right before they were sold out & I'm so glad we went. EDC LV has the best lineups & each year seems to top the next. I definitely want to go back next year as a graduation gift to myself.

Whether you have a game plan on which sets you want to see, or you go with the flow & go wherever makes your ears happy, have a fun & safe festival season!

Here's some tips & tricks to make the most of your EDC experience or any other festival this season!

  • Buy a shuttle pass. The traffic to & from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway is insane & Ubers can get pricey. With the shuttle pass, it comes out to be less than $20 per ride & the buses use a separate entrance to get to the festival grounds which saves some time. All the shuttles drop you off to the Strip too.
  • Overpack! Bring more accessories, makeup & glitter than you think you need. You & your friends will definitely find a use for it.
  • Buy a reusable water bottle. Water is free so bring an empty bottle instead of paying for an overpriced water.
  • Bring snacks in your carry-on. When you're starving at 5 am, you'll thank yourself.
  • Wear whatever you want & what you feel comfortable in. Everyone I met was so nice & the crowds weren't pushy at all.
  • Sleep whenever you can. The festival really is "from dusk till dawn." I literally slept on every shuttle & taxi ride to recharge for the night.
  • Get to the festival early. You'll avoid the traffic & have a chance to eat & take photos before your favorite DJs take the stage.
