Window Shopping

There's something I just love about window shopping in New York City. Whether its visiting designer stores on 5th Avenue or stumbling upon pop-up shops & market places, I always find something I want to purchase. It's fun to fantasize about items you wish could be in your wardrobe or future investment pieces. One day, I would love to own a Gucci handbag & Chanel espadrilles, but for now I'll admire them from afar.

September Music Recap

● At the beginning of the month, I ended off my festival season at Electric Zoo Festival
● My school had it's annual fall concert, Back to the Brook with Slushii & Post Malone
● My boyfriend & I got last minute tickets to see Chance the Rapper at his Be Encouraged Tour
● Miley Cyrus released her new album Younger Now & I've been listening to it non-stop
● I missed the Ed Sheeran concert this weekend, but hopefully I'll get tickets for his show next year

All Of The Lights

After visiting Philly, my boyfriend & I drove up to the Poconos for The Lantern Fest. We arrived just in time to see the sun set from on top of the mountain & get our lanterns ready for take off. The lanterns filling the sky was a breathtaking sight to see. I felt like I was in a dream or in that lantern scene in the movie Tangled. I can't wait to make this a yearly tradition. Happy 22nd birthday, babe!

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

For my boyfriend's birthday, I planned a trip to Philly & the Poconos. This was our first road trip together & it definitely won't be our last. I've always wanted to go to Philadelphia's Magic Gardens so that was the first stop of the day. My top went perfectly with the mosaics that are found throughout the city. Then we made our way to the Liberty Bell & the Benjamin Franklin Museum. After all the walking we did, we got Sonny's Famous Steaks & ate our cheesesteaks in Spruce Street Harbor Park  in a colorful rainbow hammock. Philly, I'll be back soon!

Brooklyn & Bubby's

Growing up in Brooklyn, I always admired the Brooklyn Bridge from the expressway but I've never been to the Brooklyn Bridge Park above the BQE. My friends & I went kayaking at the park (it's free!) then we walked the entire bridge to the city. We had lunch at Bubby's in Tribeca then I went to Broadway Market Co. in SoHo. I love stumbling across market places in the city because you can find unique jewelry pieces that no one else has.

Summer & The City

There's always so much to do in New York City during the summer time. I could never get tired of window shopping in SoHo or checking out the art murals in Nolita. Every time I'm in the city, there's always a new food place to try out or something cool being displayed in a store window. Tomorrow will be my second year attending Electric Zoo at Randall's Island. Dorm Room Tour | Junior Year

Junior year, I had the worst room situation. In the fall, my roomate & I had to bunk our beds just so we could fit our desks. But in the spring, we were able to get a room in a newer building & we're living in this building for our senior year! This post is long overdue since I didn't finish decorating this room until around finals week. I thought I would post it now as I'm starting to pack up my room at home & buy new decor pieces for Move-in Day tomorrow.

VELD Music Festival

Festivals are my go-to events during the summer & Veld was definitely a memorable one: ✓first roadtrip with my bestfriend ✓first festival out of state ✓first festival out of the country (Canada) This lineup had a good mix of hip-hop & EDM & the main stage was amazing. Canadian summers are colder than I expected, but the delicious food made up for it. The next festivals on my bucketlist are Moonrise Festival & Lollapalozza.

5 Year Anniversary | July 9, 2017

Five years has flown by & each year gets better & better. For John & I's 5th year anniversary, we went to this rooftop brunch spot in Long Island City. The view of the East River & the live jazz performance while we ate our 10 course brunch was just perfect. I definitely want to come back to Penthouse 808 for dinner & a view of the city skyline at night!

City of Angels

With one day left in California, I tried to explore all of LA in one afternoon. I always use Instagram to find the best artwork and food when traveling & it was especially handy for this trip. A lot of the food places on my list were located in the suburbs outside LA so I focused more on sight seeing. I was able to cross-off a lot of places like The Sunset Pacific Motel, California Donuts, and Griffith Observatory. There is so much more I want to see, so I definitely want to come back to LA soon!

Santa Monica

Santa Monica, the place with the worst traffic in America. With a beach, boardwalk & amusement park all in one & shopping & restaurants only three blocks away, it has rightfully claimed it's title. I wish New York had the weather to have outdoor malls and street performers, but a new atmosphere is the best part about visiting a new city.

PINK Spring Break

When I found out that the PINK Spring Break Bash was taking place during my time in Cancun, I knew I had to go. This party did not disappoint. From the venue and props to the drinks and music, everything was picture perfect. I even made it onto the @vspink Instagram stories!

My spring semester is coming to an end in a couple weeks which means it's back to studying for finals once again. I wish I was back in Cancun, living it up during Spring Break with my friends. But for now I'll be reminiscing with these photos.

Huntington Beach

The days after my aunt's wedding were spent relaxing at Huntington Beach and going to Universal Studios. The weather was perfect, but the water was a little too cold. I guess I'm used to the warm waters in the Caribbean. I already have two flights booked for 2017. Cancun for Spring Break & Chicago for my cousin's wedding!
